Fostering Child & Adolescent Mental Health

To face off today’s fierce competition, our new generation must acquire an optimistic attitude on top of a good education. A healthy upbringing, a caring family, a nurturing school, and a protective community breed physiologically and psychologically happy young people. BGCA endorses positive psychology – which places emphasis on people’s virtues and strengths – to give children a robust mindset and a balanced mental health, and to prepare them as psychologically resourceful individuals in the face of adversity.

Special projects in recent years include Positive Thinking Childhood Anxiety Disorder Project, Teen Project on Positive Psychology, “Rainbow Life” Family Support Programme, Sunflower Seed Field Day, Understanding Adolescents Project, P.A.T.H.S to Adulthood – A Jockey Club Youth Enhancement Scheme, etc.
