Small Group Home


  1. To offer places to children who cannot reside with their families, to protect and promote their health and welfare;
  2. To provide a care, family-like environment for children to live and grow up.
  3. To develop and strengthen children's self-care and independence through a regular living arrangements and care, and to help children returning to their families.


4 to 18 years children and young people who cannot reside with their families due to various reasons. 


  • Providing individual or group counseling on children's behavior, emotion, interpersonal relationships and learning.
  • Looking after the essentials of children's daily life.
  • Organizing various activities, including family activities, in order to broaden the children's life experience and to let them enjoy family life.


The area of small group home is about 1,000 square feet, with four bedrooms, a dining room and a living room, furniture are set similar to the normal family.

Small Group Home Emergency Fund


Aims at ensuring children in samll group home grow in a healthy manner without lacking necessities by providing short-term financial assistance to children and their families.

The range of assistance

  1. Short-term basic living needs (e.g. guardian cannot afford basic living expenses, meals and other necessary expenses due to unemployment.) 
  2. The basic living needs, such as glasses, clothing (seasonal), etc. 
  3. Expenses related to educational / learning such as purchase of reference books, tutoring allowance, transportation allowances. 
  4. The necessary grant on receiving physical / emotional treatment and rehabilitation activities. 
  5. The allowance before transiting from small group home (waiting for arrangements of reunion with families or individual living), such as improving the home facilities, individual living skills training, work adaption, trial living.
