Service Introduction
Amazing Start@BGCA aims to provide evidence-based and comprehensive service for families with children aged 0 to 3. The project has been launched since 2021 and has served more than 500 families in cooperation with districts' social services partners and hospitals. Starting from April 2023, the project has been continuing to expand its scope of services with the sponsorship of Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation and Lee Hysan Foundation. The service areas are mainly located in Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, Tin Shui Wai, and Kwun Tong District.
“Love@1000 Days” Services with child-centered play-based intervention practice is provided in the project to facilitate the quality stimulation of children, positive parent-child interactions and safety in home environment. The services scope is also ranged from child development to family networking as well as train-the-trainers and policy advocacy.

Service Introduction
KeySteps@JC, with a funding support of $225 million from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, is a five-year project aiming to build an integrated model involving medical, education and welfare sectors as well as to provide critical support for children from disadvantaged backgrounds to build stronger foundations. This Trust-initiated project is a collaborative effort amongst The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Christian Service and The Boys’& Girls’Clubs Association of Hong Kong.

Service Introduction
Since November 2007, TSW Children Learning and Support Centre has been established by the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, with additional sponsorship from the Hongkong Bank Foundation for renovation works to further enhance its facilities. The Centre currently serves children aged 2 to 8 from Tin Shui Wai and surrounding areas who are suspected of or diagnosed with Special Needs or Special Educational Needs, as well as their parents and teachers. Through evidence-based intervention approaches, the Centre provides appropriate training, support and counselling to help them face challenges proactively and achieve balanced physical and psychological development.
Upholding the service philosophy of “Early Intervention and Appropriate Support”, the Centre offers one-stop and multidisciplinary services to fill existing service gaps. This enables parents to make the best use of the critical developmental window while waiting for the government services, and to arrange timely and suitable training and guidance for their children at the earliest possible stage.

Service Introduction
The ‘BGCA Freshmen’ K3 to P1 Transition Support Service is generously sponsored by the Woven Charitable Foundation. The project aims to provide children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) transitioning to Primary One, as well as their families, with one-stop professional training groups counselling services and individualised consultations.
Through a family-centred, cross-disciplinary collaborative service approach, the programme promotes collaboration among the social, medical, school and family sectors. It seeks to enhance the social-emotional and learning capabilities of SEN children alleviate parental stress and strengthen teachers’ confidence and capacity in supporting SEN students. Through these concerted efforts the programme supports SEN children and their parents in achieving a smooth transition and successful adaptation to primary school life while fostering a supportive environment conducive to sustainable learning and development.
The programme will commence in the Tin Shui Wai and Yuen Long districts with a planned phased expansion to other districts. The long-term objective is to ensure that SEN children and their families across Hong Kong receive timely and appropriate transition support when entering primary education.
