Service Introduction
CDCH is an innovative project that takes a community approach to tackle the digital divide of deprived children and cultivate an enabling environment for building digital competence. The project aimed at enhancing digital literacy and digital intelligence, and also nurturing them as a moral and responsible e-citizen and lifelong learner by various interventions. Service scope of the project includes 1) computer technical and user support & online learning support, 2) IT training & community activity and 3) counselling service for matters arising from the use of digital equipment (students and parents). The project targets at 1) full-time primary and secondary students and 2) for those students receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance/Student Textbook Assistance (full or half grant). We also offered “Interactive Chatbot for Online Quick Fix” application (funded by Innovation and Technology Fund for Better Living "FBL”) for users to access more online services and assistance.
