【Kingsmen】Family Board Game Fun Day

【Board Game Day Fosters Family Bonds】

The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong's Tai Wai Children & Youth Integrated Service Centre successfully held the "Family Board Game Fun Day" on 10 November. Over 30 family groups participated in the event, with 30 Kingsman volunteers enthusiastically assisting each family, ensuring everyone could enjoy the fun and interaction provided by the board games. The opening ceremony featured speeches by representatives of Kingsman and the youth of the Association, who jointly delivered the remarks to commence this unique parent-child activity. The highlights of the event included three well-designed special games: "Fold-it," which tested the collaborative skills of parents and children; "Ab in die Tonne," which fostered teamwork; and "Codenames: Confidential Codename," which developed strategic thinking skills.

Through these playful and educational game designs, the emotional connection between parents and children is strengthened and provides a rare opportunity for cross-family communication. In particular, the 30 volunteer partners from Kingsman displayed professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the process, from setting up the venue to guiding the games and preparing gifts, ensuring that each participating family had the best experience possible. At the end of the event, all participants gathered for a group photo, capturing their bright, smiling faces. Each child received a commemorative gift to conclude the day. The success of this event serves as a special thank you to Kingsman for its robust support, as its concept of corporate social responsibility aligns perfectly with the association’s service purpose.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration in the future to organise more creative activities that promote family harmony, allowing more families to enjoy and grow through play.
