【Thank You! KMB club1933 Donation Matching Scheme in Collaboration with BGCA to Support Children from underprivileged families】

Kowloon Motor Bus (1933) Limited ("KMB") has launched a Donation Matching Scheme through its club1933 membership program, organizing activities and providing additional donations to support beneficiaries of various organizations. From 26 August (Monday) to 6 September (Sunday), KMB will collaborate with The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA). For every three eCoins donated by club1933 members, KMB will match the donation to BGCA’s "Treasure Trove". The funds will be used to organise a "Bus Model Art Workshop" for children from underprivileged families, making every donation even more meaningful.

Supported by the Club1933 Donation Matching Scheme, BGCA recently partnered with KMB to host a "Bus Model Art Workshop." During the event, children not only unleashed their creativity by designing unique bus models to take home but also had the thrilling opportunity to ride on the latest electric buses and explore various areas of the KMB depot. Guided by volunteers from KMB and the FRIENDS OF KMB (“FRN"), participants gained insights into the depot’s daily operations and maintenance procedures, admired vintage buses from different eras, and learned about bus etiquette to become more considerate passengers. One of the highlights was witnessing the bus washing process—when the entire bus entered the giant automated washer, the spectacular sight left everyone in awe!
