Sandy (alias) is a 4-year-old girl who is keen on music. As her parents would like to enhance her confidence in learning, they wanted to enroll in a piano lesson for her. However, due to a low family income and the need to cope with the additional training expenses for her younger brother’s autism, it was difficult for her family to afford her piano lessons.  To provide Sandy the opportunity to develop her interest in music, Treasure Trove covered her piano tuition fees three times and also covered her examination fees. Meanwhile, social workers from BGCA continue to check up on her family from time to time, encouraging them to participate in more family bonding activities to enhance family relationships.
