On behalf of the BGCA's Executive Committee, we would like to announce that Mr. Billie Lau assumes the position of Executive Director from 16 June 2023.
Mr. Billie Lau is an experienced social service practitioner with professional qualifications including Bachelor of Social Science, Master of Philosophy, and Master of Social Science in Clinical Gerontology as well as Executive MBA. He specialises in leading organizational service development, digital transformation as well as service innovations, etc.
Mr. Billie Lau said, “in response to the challenges faced by children and youth across different eras, BGCA has been committed to fostering a favourable growth environment for future generations by connecting with various community stakeholders. Our team has accumulated extensive experience in a wide range of services over the years. We are dedicated to passing down the valuable wisdom, spirit, and values to promote sustainable innovative services and optimize our systems and workflows. To ensure the continuity of our legacy and keep up with the changing times, we aim to establish a learning organization and cultivate a mutual learning culture in the long run, co-creating a children-and-youth-friendly environment for the future.”
