Youngsters would feel lost and challenging when they come to the crossroads of pursuing further studies and career development. Members of the community from different sectors would be the guiding stars helping the youngsters approach the journey of success.

Thanks Goldman Sachs sponsored and its 26 volunteers assisted in BGCA “U-nique Career Workshop”, opening 42 BGCA ‘DSE Club’ secondary and tertiary students’ mindset and broadening their horizons. Todd Leland, the President of Goldman Sachs International, shared his teenage dream, vision, experiences in banking industry, and also gifted our students with a motto: “Believe in yourself and people around you along your journey to the ‘Tomorrowland’.”

Through the mock interview and resume review career advice sessions with Goldman Sachs’ Community Team Works volunteers, our students gained insights of how banking industry is, and knowledge in preparing resume, interview techniques, etc. Our students were grateful that the career workshop helped enhance their confidence in speaking English and exploring the diversified career and life planning.

The DSE Club, which aims at offering youth with academic assistance, emotional support and a bigger picture on their career and life planning, showcases one of the main focuses of youth development that BGCA embraced.
