Regulations
  1. Sub-letting or transfer of the hire of the venue is NOT allowed. An accepted booking will be cancelled immediately if a breach of this regulation is discovered.
  2. On arriving at the Association, the hirer should present to the staff of the Association the duplicate copy of the booking form.
  3. The use of the facilities is restricted to that stated in the booking form. If the activities organized by the hirer require a licence, the hirer should obtain such licence in advance.
  4. Hirers must produce letter of exemption from Education Ordinance, Chapter 279, issued by Education Bureau for conducting classes at the Association function rooms. 
  5. The hirer should only receive their invited guests or registered participants.
  6. The name of the organization, i.e. the hirer appears on the application form must be the one using the facilities, otherwise, the Association may cancel the booking immediately.
  7. The hirer should use the facilities according to the instructions given by the staff of the Association.
  8. The Association will not be liable to or responsible for any physical damages or financial losses incurred to the hirer or any of its participants arising from the activities organized by the hirer in the venue(s).
  9. The hirer should not move or dismantle any fitting, fixture, furniture or equipment of the Association. All hired equipment should be kept in good condition and put back in their original positions after use for checking by the Association staff.
  10. The hirer is not allowed to make use of the space outside the charge facilities, e.g. corridor, stairway and lobby without the prior approval of the Association.
  11. The hirer will be liable to compensating the Association for any damages incurred to the facilities.
  12. The hirer should keep the venue clean and will be responsible for tidying up the venue on leaving. Trash should be put in plastic bags and be discarded in designated locations. The hirer has to pay additional charges for any extra cleaning work to be done if the Association considers that such extra cleaning is required.
  13. No food and beverages are allowed in the venues without the prior approval of the Association.
  14. No sales or commercial activities are allowed in the venues.

  15. No smoking is allowed in the premises of the Association.
  16. The hirer is not allowed to place or post up notices or promotional materials in any form within the premises of the Association without the prior approval of the Association. The Association staff will remove such materials, if any, without prior notice.
  17. The hirer should not use the Association's address or telephone as their correspondence address and contact. No redirect mail or telephone service will be provided.
  18. No car park is available within the premises of the Association.
  19. Hirers are prohibited to associate themselves or their products or services in any way directly or indirectly with the Association.
  20. The Association’s address (3 Lockhart Road, Wanchai) can only be mentioned as an address in which the event is taking place; the Association disallows the hirer to mention the name of the Association in any of its address, promotional materials, public relations or marketing; the Association has the right to add in wordings in any such promotional materials, public relations or marketing a disclaimer disassociating the Association from the event.
  21. The Association has the right to cancel the hiring of the facilities should the hirer contravene any one of the above terms. 
  22. The Association has the right to reject or terminate the hiring of the facilities without explanation.
