Group activities
  • Astronomy:

    Including "How to Use a Telescope", "How to Use a star chart to observe the constellation" and "Actual observation". This activity related arrangements will be led by camp instructors, offers interesting materials for junior level to senior level so as to attract the interest of campers. The activity is suitable for all campers, astronomical mirror is available for stargazing.
  • Night treasure hunt:

    A total of 22 check points in the camp, campers are required to find the designated within limited time. Campers are also required to bring along with their own flashlight. This activity is suitable for all campers.
  • Archery:

    Campsite offers an archery range with four launching areas and bows equipped with different pounds, which is suitable for all campers. Campers are required to be led, demonstrated and guided by Campsite staff during the activity.
  • Rope course:

    Campsite offers “a Youth rope course” for those aged 10 or above with better physical strength, campers are required to be led, demonstrated and guided by Campsite staff during the activity. Each stage is equipped with a lifeline and hook for protection purposes.
  • Gateball:

    Campsite offers an equipped gateball court with related facilities. The activity is suitable for all campers. Campers are required to be led, demonstrated and guided by Campsite staff during the activity.
  • American pool:

    The campsite offers 4 pool for American pool. The activity is suitable for all campers. Campers are required to be led and guided by Campsite staff during the activity.
  • Canoeing (required to pay the coaching fees, minimum no. of participants: 16):

    Campsite offers canoes and related equipments for two person and one person, with enough life jackets. The activity is led by campsite coach, carried out at the "Tsam-Chuk Wan" where is calm and surrounded by mountains, is a safe and ideal water sports area. Participants should know swimming, with age 12 or above and wear canvas shoes and life jackets for the activity. The event is suitable for both male and female campers. (For participants under age 18, a declaration must be filled by parents or guardian or leader)
  • Rowing (required to pay the coaching fees, minimum no. of participants: 16):

    Campsite offers rowing boats and enough life jackets. The activity is led by campsite coach, the activity area, required clothing and eligibility of participants are the same with canoeing. (For participants under age 18, a declaration must be filled by parents or guardian or leader)
  • Children's Playground:

    Campsite offers a padded children's playground to ensure safety. The playground is suitable for children.
  • Other facilities:

    Campsite offers a hall and activity rooms are equipped with TV, TV VCR, piano and audio apparatus, which can accommodate up to 120 people. In addition, campsite offers a small books corner, books includes the subjects on astronomy and science, fiction and children's books, etc. Campers are welcome to borrow during their camp period. For recreational equipments, campsite offers basketball, table tennis, Chinese billiard and other chess activities for campers to borrow.

 (i) For enquiring the information about group activities or making special requests, please contact the camp office directly (Tel: 27921409). Arrangements on group activities are based on the number of participants and their age.
(ii) All water sports (canoeing and rowing) are available for whole year.For joining water sports, please make request to the person in charge of the camp program before the start of camp period and confirm the number of participants and settle payment.
(iii) Campsite also offers adventure training activities for schools and groups, application must be made and payment must be settled one month before the start of camp period, please contact camp staff for details and arrangements one month before the start of the camp.
